When requesting TX-TERT, the agency 9-1-1 Communications Manager/Supervisor/Designee must be involved in the process. Their involvement ensures the requesting agency and staff are aware of a potiential TERT deployment, include accurate information in paperwork, and serve as the agecny main point of contact for TERT teams.
To request TERT assistance, follow the steps below.
Step One
Download and complete the TX-TERT Activation Request Form.
Step Two
Work with the local Emergency Management Coordinator or designee to complete any state required paperwork and include the TX-TERT Activation Request Form with submission. Again, the agency 9-1-1 Communications Manager/Supervisor/Designee must be involved in this process.
